In keeping with the multi-faceted nature of each client's personality and life story, I use a variety of approaches in working with you. First and foremost, I will listen to you and hear your pain. I enjoy therapies that focus on self-compassion, including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB). I want to help you understand what makes you tick through Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), and assist you in challenging these ways if they no longer support your goals in life. I aim to empower clients through teaching skills in relaxation, and interpersonal communication, especially with respect to assertiveness.
